I added a few photos to my flicker account the other day using my PC. I have just tried to organise them into albums with my tablet ,
I have realised that I can't drag and drop, because all that happens is as I move my finger across the screen, the page moves. If you get what I mean.
Is there a trick to lock the screen so I can drag an image .

Hi

1) What OS is on the tablet (iOS, Windows, Windows Phone, Android etc.)
2) Are you using the website or an App?
3) Is there a reason why you wouldn't want to do this on your PC?

Acer tablet running on android.
Using their website.
Our PC doesn't have a perminant home so I have to set it up to use it. Therefore the tab is more convenient.

Hi

Sorry but that setup won't allow you to do what you want to do. The android browsers don't allow you to drag and drop like you can with a mouse and this fundamentally is the problem. If you had a windows tablet you will be able to achieve this with windows 10 but else you can't. I looked at the App on the my daughters Hudl2 and I think its limited functionality is built in as it is seen as a second tier device.

Perhaps a cheap laptop will do the trick?

Thanks for that Tony. Its not a real problem, certainty not worth upgrading for.
I really like my Acer it is light and easy to navigate. My wife has an iPad one that she bought reconditioned, and I find that heavy and klunky.
Our PC is an all in one (no tower) so I set it up on the kitchen table when I want to organise photos, do some printing, and that sort of thing. NC quiz night soon, so I will leave it set up to some photo editing.
Wouldn't mind a windows laptop, but a bit out of my price range at the moment.

I tend to do most of my Flickr organising on the PC, their web version has had a recent overhaul, as well as the Android app. Don't know if you can drag and drop, but with the app you can probably add photos to an album?
