we were members there for 18 years and can vouch for whats been said. The only reason were not still members is the distance and costs involved in travel. The spring bash at the end of May is a great weekend, along with the jazz/beer fest in july and billys week in august. A club well worth a visit for the weekend. In terms of travel, the club uses several tame cab drivers which turns the walk to the train station into a 5 minute ride giving you easy access to Orpington to go to London or swanley if you want the kent coast. if you stat midweek theres a lively market on Wednesday in swanley, local boot fairs at the weekend and good quality restaurants nearby if you want to venture outside, but must say the quality of food served at the café in brockenhurst is very good and reasonably priced, all topped off with cheap drinks (bonus!)

I need to book a visit, just need to find a weekend when I'm free. Getting there seems OK, but it's a long walk down a quiet lane from St Mary Cray.

Just got home after the visit, had a really great time there. It's a big site, with room for caravans and camping if you wish. I was also able to take a walk around the perimeter through the woods which was nice and shady.

I'd recommend a visit if you're in the area.

Couldn't make the weekend, but had a lovely day there yesterday. Spoke to a few people who had enjoyed the weekend festival so hopefully next year. Plan to go again tomorrow, it's going to be hot!

Been there a few times, although last time was a few years back. Enjoyed it very much. People are very friendly and facilities were good and clean. Went to their first Jazz Festival which had become an annual event.
