There's a few parking spaces just outside the height restricted entrance to the car park, you could park there if reception would allow.

I Love it when a Tan Comes Together.

How long has the car park near the seaside estate charge for parking? Is it a new thing? and are there any signs to say you have to pay? and has anyone had problems if they haven't?

Every time Ive been there Ive never paid because I never saw a signs saying I had to! tho it has been a few years since Ive been to Morfa.

I did look for signs when I was there as I didnt want any problems, so maybe Ive been fortunate? Maybe 3 years since I last went tho so maybe it was free then?

Just to be clear Im talking about the triangular car park that you go under the height barrier, not the other a little further south, that,s been a pay and display a few years.

Hi Lee,
they have charged for years.

Possibly relying on people's honesty? In my experience there has been someone posted at the entrance who gave out tickets but I suppose if they are not there for any reason people just drive straight on the field.
Others have mentioned nipping into the shop to pay.

I think the Seaside Estate only charge (a modest amount) during the main season (school holidays).

Beach Day (organised by BN) this Sunday (Aug 17th) all welcome!

My humble apologies. I must try harder.
I will give myself a sound thrashing.  >:(

Actually it's not too bad.

Not quite sure why you'd take offence to a weather forecast, tho I admit British weather is frustrating sometimes.

Dyffryn on a quiet day a few years ago. Unfortunately my photo of a wide open empty beach is too large to format.  Another time!

Visited Morfa today .. was very cloudy and windy when I got there and literally no one else around.  Stripped and walked the length of the beach and didn't see another soul.

Couple of hours later and the sun was beating down with clear blue sky's !

Saw a few more naturists once the sun was out but pretty much had the place to myself all day.

It's a really great place and although the weather is not looking good for the next few days I'm off again We'd and Thu 😀

Sean.

Love Morfa although it always seems to be cloudy and dull when I have had chance to go

Yes David has extended it and put new facilities in that part but I do not know if they are up and running.
Possibly someone else could clarify that for us?
