Heard recently that there's been quite a lot of sand loss exposing rocks at beaches in the south of the island, particularly Mal Nombre and El Salmo. Anybody got recent info? We're heading there in mid November and love the Sotavento coast,

We are just back from Corralejo, and we had heard the there was a lot of exposed rocks down in the south. Still plenty of sand on the beach tho'.

We are constantly amazed how much the beaches change each time we go. The sand might all be back by the time you go.

Have a great holiday.

But it's a long walk from Jandia when there are great beaches almost on the hotel's doorstep.
Almost all the beaches on Fuerteventura are clothing optional so there is no need to go far at all.

Hi Folks! Visited Corralejo last year, but thinking of heading down to Jandia - Barcelo probably - or Maspalomas to spend time on another part of the island. Has anyone been to the Barcelo in Jandia - are there courtesy buses out to the naturist beaches as in Corralejo. Any thoughts/ advice on Maspalomas and where would be ideal to stay please?
Great forum - seeing loads of advice on here across the different sections!

Well, all booked now. Club Jandia Princess for a week 3rd October. Looks fab - right on the beach and with naturist area and sauna on an adults only complex. Even better - my wife, who has never wanted to try naturism yet - has hinted that she might just 'go with the flow' this time, particularly in the sauna and pool.
First time we've actively booked a holiday with naturism at the forefront of our thinking. Think I'm going to enjoy this new aspect of our lives  🙂

We drove down to Jandia in January to check our favourite beach (esquinzo) and a lot of sand has gone.
We stayed at the Barcelo a few years ago and found it to be a good hotel.
As for the naturist beaches basically all the beach is naturist, as a general rule looking out to sea the left of the lighthouse is naturist but you will see naturists on all of it.
The quieter beaches are to the left round the rocky outcrop, none are far away and an easy walk, the biggest problem is the hill at the side of the Barcelo if you are staying in the top part of the hotel, with checking Google earth.
If I can help anymore please ask

Coralejo has the best nightlife and restaurants, but Jandia (Morro Jable) has the best beaches and for naturists you could walk from Morro Jable to Costa Calma naked (about 20km) without raising an eyebrow.

Jandia is amazing been many times to around Sotovento, it's my favourite spot in Fuerteventura. Starting at Melia Gorriones hotel walk in the direction of Morro Jable past Esquinzo, it's such a gorgeous walk and of course it can all be done in the nude, though it is distinctly c/o...

Ask me about Vera Playa naturist apartments to rent or check out my website (5% discount to NC members): http://www.veraplayavacations.com.
