We are in one of the Cabanons. Looking out today it's been miserable for those in tents. In fact we look out on one that seems unoccupied just now but has a small stream running into it!

We had a team of French TV Channel "France 2" (our equivalent of BBC 2) here at Bélézy for 48 hours, shooting videos of naturist activities (yoga, archery, etc.). Our choir were shot from behind in a scene where we delivered a spirited rendering of a song of the 1930. This should be shown as a report within the midday TV news on France 2 early this coming week. I hope that I can get my hands on a recording.

We stayed for just three nights (14 - 16 July 2015) at Domaine de Belezy in our camper van on the way back home from our trans-European tour this summer but we thoroughly enjoyed the site and wished we could have stayed for longer. We can recommend it and we would like to go back. We were on pitch ROM16 which is one of the new ones created this year specifically for motor-homes with both power hook-up and water supply on every placement that we appreciated.

Sorry to have missed you. We were at Bélézy at the time. We must have passed your camper a number of times as the new camper pitches were on our way between our accommodation and the swimming pool.
Do drop a line any other time you might be at Bélézy, as we are there quite frequently - and there's always a bottle of the local sweet wine "Beaumes de Venise" waiting in the fridge to be shared with other NC members.

The Bélézy Citroën 2 cv left this morning for Poland. The heavey wool coat will of course only be kept on when the car is on show, not on the road. They should be back within a fortnight if all goes well.

More photos of the 2 cv leaving this morning, cheered on by dozens of club members.

The naturist 2 CV from Bélézy has reached the international meeting of the "friends of 2 CV" in Torun, Poland, where it instantly became one of the stars of the show.

The Bélézy 2 CV was finally awarded a special prize for the "best coated 2 CV" - admittedly, it was the only car competing for this prize.
As you can see on the photo the weather conditions were not particularly favorable to naturism, and Annick was as heavily coated as the 2 CV.
Still, our team of naturist drivers in Poland were vey happy with the contacts that they established there, and some participants from Northern and Eastern Europe have enquired about the possibility of being accommodated at Bélézy on the way to the next 2 CV meeting in Portugal in 2017.

Great stuff Jacques - glad the 2 CV made it OK and attracted so much positive attention.

That car is beyond cute.

We are at Bélézy for an extended weekend - until Wednesday 9th September. Lots of Brits here at the moment - but apparently none of them NC members. Just to remind you, we always have a bottle of sweet "Beaumes de Venise" wine open to share drinks and a chat with any NC members - although I must admit that the amount of wine in the bottle tends to go down even when no NC members are visiting!
It's still sunny and warm here (between 24° and 28° depending on the day), in spite of some wind ("le Mistral", the bane of Provence) forecast on Sunday and Monday.
