Sounds like a plan; can you get there for about 10am? Walk is about 2 miles and take about 2 hours so can finish in the pub at midday ish?

Proposed route: Start at Gorley Bushes car park just west of Fritham (230141), walk up to track and follow to south west point of Eyeworth Lodge. Head westerly to crossroads at 217241 then head south until we come out onto Fritham Plain at 218136 where we head east and pick up the track following it north east back to the car park.

OS Explorer Map OL22 West Sheet.

What you think?

A very successful hike today! Came across 1 walker, 1 cyclist and 1 horserider.

Did the route in just over 1 hour and I wasn't taking my time either so 2 hours should be fine.

Am planning on opening this up now so anyone fancy tagging along, next outing will be Wednesday 20th from 11am - subject to weather.

Oh, and no shadow on the selfie  😀

Looks like weather might be ok for Wednesday so plan is:-

Meet at Royal Oak pub at 10.45 on Wednesday 20th
If you run late, drive to the Fritham car park and into the overflow car park; that is where the walk will start
Plan to finish at the car park around 1pm

Wear sensible walking footwear (boots not needed unless you want them) and bring bottle of water as well. Will be a "leisurely stroll" not an arduous ramble  😀

All welcome. As the area is pretty devoid of any human activity, it is also a good opportunity for newbies to experience a naked walk.

Yes. There was 3 of us so not bad start to a new venture - unfortuneately, although the weather looked promising at 10am, by 11am it was chilly and overcast and we felt that perhaps nudity in those weather conditions was no condusive to a healthy lifestyle  😀

The walk took about 1.5 hours so will be looking to extend it slightly for next time.

It was also very strange. The previous week when it was hot, I came across 3 people. This week when it was cold and overcast, there were loads of people; don't understand it!

Going to do the walk again; next time is on 4th June, same details but just a little bit longer.

...will be nude no matter what lol

I used to think that; then I got caught in a hail storm... There are times that being out naked is not a joyful experience! Other than that you sound like a man after my own heart.

Enjoy the walk.

Ian.

Thursday's walk was superb - lovely weather, not too hot and a nice breeze. There was 4 of us; 3 chaps and a lady which was really nice to have along.

Whole walk lasted about 1.5 hours so will extend it slightly for next time. Am, also looking into a new route which has been recommended by another naturist. Keep an eye here and on the nakedhikesouthampton.co.uk website for more details.

More than welcome, Pete - as is anyone  🙂

It's a really nice walk; only problem is the approach to the A31 where we have to put clothes on otherwise I'm sure a pile-up would result hehehehehehee
