Studland has been my beach of choice for many years. The walk from the road to the beach is generally very pleasant made better of late by the addition of 2 small footbridges over the sinkholes next to the pathway. The naturist area although it has been reduced over the years is very good with the beach and the dunes. When the tide is in the slope off as you go into the water is very gentle so ideal for children and poor swimmers. On a good day the views across the bay towards Bournemouth, the Isle of White, and Old Harry rocks is visually stunning with lots of small boats darting about in the sea. As the cross channel ferry uses Poole harbour they pass offshore on a regular basis even so Studland can be a very peaceful and tranquil place to relax and soak up the sun.
