Hi Fairlight-goers, just wondered if anyone would mind posting a beach access update for this year. We're hoping to get over there some time in the summer and just wanted to know how the eroding cliffs have affected access this year...is it better to walk around the beach way from Hastings Old Town at low tide...or still walk down the cliff?

Lovely 3 hours down at Fairlight today. I arrived at high tide and it was fairly busy based on the amount of beach space available, perhaps a dozen couples and a handful of singles.

Unfortunately the clouds came in so I made the long walk back up the hill, deciding to see how far I could get au naturel (had a towel ready to cover up) and it was a nice quiet trek.

Not been for a while so was a nice experience and good exercise walking down and up!
