Hi Algie - yes not bad, I normally go up there about 5 on a Sunday ( sat varies as depends on what's going on ). You can also park at the level crossing car park, and take the path that leads away from the railway line - that path crosses route 23

I often walk nude in the woods on a sunny morning or afternoon. I've also been on route 23 or go off the Brandon Road near Weeting.

Sounds excellent. Never heard of "Route 23" or walked in Thetford Forest though. Are there numbered routes, and if so, where do I get a map?    8)

Does sound good ...would love to know exactly where it is. Not too far for me to travel.

Hi guys - the best way to find it, is if you go on the Thetford to Mundford road - half way along is the turn off for Santon Downham. Half way down this road ( if you reach the level crossing then you have gone too far) is route 23. Turn right and park down there, normally I park by the first gate. Go in first gate, and continue straight for about 100 yard, then on the left is a bike route into the Forrest. From there you can walk naked, almost to the Brandon end of route 23.
now the weather is better go walking most evenings about 6 with the dog, and if quite, even go along the route 23 itself

I spent a couple of days in Brandon in May and had a great walk in the area of Brandon park. Once away from the car park I did not see another person for the whole four hours I was out. there is lots of potential for naked walking in the area.

Thanks for sharing your route with us; maybe I'll try it if I find myself in the area again.

Have fun,

Ian.

Is this still a good nude walk? I passed by it today and want to try to walk it this weekend.

I have walked up here a few times with my dog in the last couple of weeks, I was naked and undisturbed. I have walked in the Lynford Stag area too. Where do you walk? Where are the best paths? I was just North of Harling Drove NW of santon downham. I did not use what I would call a main track. As yet I have not met a clothed walker there. I walked between 5.30 and 7.00 PM after work too, it would be good to have company.
