My first proper nude experience was whilst on a family holiday in Devon when I was 16. I had been skinny dipping before and often played native American Indians nude with friends which usually resulted in a telling off. On this occasion I was bored of just hanging out with the family so I went for a walk on my own.
After half hour or so I suddenly started to see naked figures in the distance on the beach. Intreaged I continued walking. Before I knew it I was surrounded by naturists. I was a little nervous to start and just had a wonder round the beach and dune areas. After a while I thought why not and stripped off and ran into the sea before anyone saw me.
I must have been in the water for what seemed like an age before I finally decided to have another walk along the beach, only this time nude. I loved how relaxed and friendly everyone was there and no one had anything to hide. I've never looked back and until this day I still don't know the name of the beach.
I can't really explain my first nude experience as I have always enjoyed not having clothes on (my parents still don't know I'm a naturist at heart though!)
Ive always wondered when swimming 'why do we need to wear shorts? they protect nothing from the water'
Now were officially attending naturist events, my first experience of this was at the Clover Spa in Birmingham. Felt so natural to be able to strip off and enjoy the sun, hot tub and gardens. It did feel a bit strange having a naked light lunch and beer in the bar but about about 30 seconds, it felt so normal. Although it does indeed make your lunch and beer taste a hell of a lot better :laugh:
