Yes, it took me a while to find a weekend when I was free and the weather was good! They do visits on Saturday and Sunday now, but discourage day visitors unless you are camping.

I finally managed to get down to Leysdown on Tuesday and it was a fantastic morning. Yes the track is a bit bumpy but once navigated and parked it was only a short stroll of maybe 50 metres to a suitable place on the beach. I pretty much kept myself to myself but it seemed as though most were friendly and it was a great way to spend a few hours in the sun, with the tide coming in, on a very sunny and hot Tuesday 🙂

The one time I ventured to Leysdown, I got out of my car and walked up the bank. I then noticed a group of teenage boys who were looking and obviously laughing at those on the beach. It was very off putting!

I then went to Eurekas actually, where the only people there are those for nudity.

I visited Leysdown as my second beach experience yesterday. It was quite well populated, generally 1 woman to every 10 men but everyone was friendly. I'd go back again, but I'll pick a better spot to pitch up in which is a bit better covered as there were a few 'lurkers'...

I setup my shelter on the beach itself and I've been pretty much left alone. I have had one or two clothed guys ask me if I had 'had any fun?' but it's quite easy to make them aware of why you are on the beach and they soon get the message and bugger off.

There are quite a few who setup their area in the sandy/grassy dune type area behind the beach and quite a few wander about but tbh I've haven't witnessed any inappropriate behaviour and as you say the vibe seems to be quite friendly.

Let me know if and when you are going next or look out for me and say 'Hi'. I'm the guy with the blue and white shelter, coolbox, drinks, beers, crisps and cakes!

Hi Gazza.

I should be there at a similar time and will be camped on the beach in my blue and white shelter. Feel free to say 'Hi' if you stumble across me!  🙂

Anyone else going?

Hi, I am thinking about going on Thursday early afternoon. Is anyone else going to be there? The weather forecast looks good.

Beach nothing to write home about but at least you can be naked there. Gets busy on a warm summer's day. Plusses are the car park is only 50 yards from the beach so you don't have to carry stuff very far. Negative is the approach road - just a dirt track but this has got better in recent years.
