I went too see what the situation was at the weekend. There were men at the far end, but I witnessed no less behaviour. Indeed, they covered up as I approached, although they didn't have to (but they weren't to know that of course). I set up at the sandier part a way away and saw nothing untoward. People just sunbathing, reading or taking the occasional dip. They were some distance away and could have gone of for some less wholesome activities and I would not have been able to see, but I didn't get that 'vibe' from them them when I had been close enough to say hello. I hope that I'm right...
Hi Monknash is a fantastic beach nidden away. Its a bit of a walk but CF71 6QQ takes you to a pub, drive a little further down the very narrow lane and park in the farmer's filed which allows parking, follow the road down and enter the nature reserve. Follow this to the beach and trun right. The tide needs to be out and you need to keep an eye on the tide but you can walk to a huge beach with marvellous shaped stone features.
You can walk on the ebach or just lie on the flat rocks. Google it and be amazed.
Glad you enjoyed. When the tides out and quiet you can walk to near SouthernDown and Back Naked. 🙂
Plough & Harrow sell good Ale. 🙂

Had a nice day there last year, there was a combined beach day with BN and the Cardiff WNBR. Don't hang around directly under the cliffs though, chunks can fall off at random times.
They're at their desk - over there!
:)BN are having a Beach day on the 21st of this Month.
All invited BN members or not meeting about 10.30am for a few hours then off to Plough & Harrow 🙂
Meeting in Farmers field Car Park I think.

Is this the place sometimes referred to as Wick bay? Hubby & I used to go to a beach that was accessed from just outside the village of Wick, we walked across fields to the top of the cliff, then scrambled down a track which led to a metal ladder anchored in the cliff face!
It was a lovely beach by any standards, let alone by Bristol Channel ones! Last we heard the ladder had been washed away by bad storms, we haven't been back for 10 or more years! There had been rumours of sexual activity at the eastern end, not that we ever saw any.
"if it feels good, do it"
ladders still there
ladders still there
Well....might have to take a trip over the bridge then!
"if it feels good, do it"
Unfortunately due to weather conditions the meet was cancelled
Ladder was upgraded some years ago as there was erosion on the cliff.
I have used the upgraded one but not for a few years. 🙂
Yes there has been activity on the east, >:(I have notice when trawling the net it is also mentioned on a swingers site, which is the reason for the activity.
:(People thing naked means sex >:(

Following the recommendation of Cian (thanks Cian!),
I've decide to check Monknash beach today.
I took a day off and headed to the beach.
The weather was good (there weren't strong winds at noon and the
temperature was 19C and sunny).
I parked at the farmer's parking and walked 10 minutes along the cwm .
Very pleasant walk. Haven't seen a soul.
I reached the beach, which was quite deserted, except an old man and his dog. I chatted with the man who was later surfing. I asked him about the tide and he told me not to worry:
The trouble with Monknash is that one can get caught in high tide. The man told me that I should leave the beach when the water reaches the pebbles.
Anyway, I headed to the sandy patch. There was no-one on the beach. I walked naked for about 10-20 minutes and stayed there for a good hour.
The beach is superb! if you walk near the water line you can see quite far and reassure yourself that there is no-one around. The only concern is people on the cliffs who might watch you, but this is a bit far (and the cliffs are quite tall).
The scenery is absolutely amazing! the cliffs of Monknash are yellow/ginger/brown with a very special structure. Heaven.
In total I spent almost two hours before heading back to the car park.
Glad you enjoyed, I managed to get down there today as well via the farmers fields but left it a little late and the tide had made it to the pebbles around two, so I made my way back, but it was a very pleasant 30 mins walk naked if a little windy. Bumped into a couple walking on the way back and they both said hello as we passed, other than that deserted. I'm always amazed when I think it'll be my last chance to walk naked at the end of the year, I manage to get another chance, I was also there on sat for a couple of hours.
Were you naked when you met the couple on the way back? how did they react?
Yes I was naked, they were fine, smiled and said hello. Once I'm in the farmers field at Monknash I strip off and stay naked till I get back to the same spot, can count on one hand the negative reactions I have had in five years. Most say hello and carry on their way, I don't go out of my way to avoid people just use common sense. Saturday as I got to the end of the fields I could see a group of around eight people turned out they were teen-agers on a field trip from what I could gather, I sat on the rocks and waited for them to decide which they they were going and we avoided meeting directly, they saw me from a distance, but no issues.
Thanks, Cian.
I am always very cautious not to be seen naked. My worry is to cause stress to other people.
It seriously affects my nudist experience, as I am too concern about the presence of other people.
Happy to learn that other people don't care so much.
Try not to be stressed when out walking, if you are people will pick up on it and it will be reflected back to you. I you look people in the face, smile and give a confident hello you will usually find that is what you will get in return. Walking naked is very much about your confidence and how normal you are when you meet anyone. I have been doing it for many years and the earlier you can get eye contact and a smile in the more time you have to react to any negative body language if any and act appropriately if necessary.
