Well.....  😮 😀    Some of the pics have come out looking like I'm holding a fishing rod but I've worked out how to do it without showing the stick now.  Also, you can easily crop the pic and take the stick out if you can see it. It's a great way to get photo's of yourself or a few people showing where you are in the background. I'm not so good at posting pics here from my phone but when I get home I'll post a few more, hopefully the right way up.

So is it just a stick you put your phone on the end of ? Amazing what people will come up with 😆

Oh but it's SO much more than that!  It even has a button in the handle to trigger the camera!  😉

Boundaries are there to be stretched!

Mine has a seperate button which works well.

I'll try and show a couple of pics if it works, right way up I hope.  One of my first attempts and then one at Paradise beach after we worked out how to set it up without showing the stick.

Looks like I can only show one pic so here is the first one I showed but the right way up this time I hope  ???

I recomend trying a selfie stick, it's fun and saves having to ask other people to take the pics for you.

Why didnt we think of one of these?!? Its difficult to get a picture together to use for a profile picture for example.
Anyone have any other tips for getting a picture together? We dont really know anyone well enough to ask them to take one of us

You could use the self timer on your phone or camera to take a picture.

Not nearly so much fun or so many laughs as using the selfi stick  🙂

If you have a camera that has an interval timer on it, you can get it to take photos every few seconds, and then pick which ones you like.

Can also be quite amusing, as you also get the shots when you are moving into and out of position  🙂

It is how we took most of the photos of us that are in the Media Centre.
Once you have tried that out, join the Media Centre as it is well worth it.

Its a great idea and one my wife and I have thought about as we do find it difficult to get pics together when we are on out nudist walks out in the bush. Having one of these sticks would make it so much easier and they have really taken off here in Australia so it could be a trip to the shops to buy one and to have some fun on our next naked bush hike. ;D

Stay Nude Dudes. 🙂

Having read these comments, I now think I shall go out and purchase one of these sticks to give it a try.

I remember it was about a year ago when I first saw these sticks being used in person. Seeing them being used for internet photos was common place, but for a bystander, it looks really ridiculous. The idea of a selfie was meant to be a quick photo, demonstrating what you were up to in that current moment.

I don't know. I just think the whole idea has been lost. I am interested to see whether this will be a temporary fad or something that will be normalized in the future.
