Matt I feel the same thats why I prefer Slapton or Weston mouth near sidmouth but the steep walk back is a spoiler:-)

Weston Mouth was the first proper naturist beach I went to - loved the place but quite a climb as you say. Not been for some years now - not sure my knee would be up to those steps - but I managed Vault beach ok and I think that's probably as tough a trek. Slapton is very easy but not been down that way for a while. Time to get out more again!
