Hi all

Firstly I'm completely new to NC so to begin with I'd like to say hello!

I am hoping to be able to visit a naturist beach in Northumberland this month. I see from the beaches map that there are two - Ross Back Sands and Druridge bay. Would anyone recommend one over the other?

Thanks a lot for any views on this

(Also apologies if this has been asked before but new members can't search the forum)

Went to Ross bank yesterday, had swim and cpl of hours sunbathing in dunes, v quiet though not official.
Read somewhere that durridge bay had had some problems with gays and diggers, so police patrolling.

Just adding that I spent some time at Ross today and it was wonderful and I would thoroughly recommend it, though the few naturists in evidence were outnumbered by clothed visitors.

Also anyone planning a visit at the moment may want to note that  conservation wardens are currently stopping people on the way to the northern part of the beach during times when the tides might force people to walk close to the nature reserve.

If anyone fancies a run up here again let me know and we can meet up if you are up for it I'm not exactly sure of it's location. Been to Druridge Bay before is it anywhere near there.

You are so right - I am just awful at time management and leave everything till the last second then have to rush like mad and end up struggling. Need to sort myself out really!
