I don't think weare supposed to do anything with clothes, no other animals are or do, so why should we? As for dressing because of the weather, yes, but until we started wearing clothes we had more hair. So, now wearing clothes when it is cold makes sense, but not if it is raining and warm - your skin is owing waterproof and breathable! So, yes I completely agree.

Going away in a bit and staying in a posh hotel with pool sauna etc. so annoying got to wear costume. In the UK of course

just cant beat naked swimming feels more natural to feel the water on your skin and no falling over to get the swim ware off

Yes naked swimming is far better than swimming with trunks on feels much more natural to me.

Naked swimming is amazing I don't think we are supposed to swim with a swim costume as horrible and clingy.

Many years ago now, our crew landed at Offutt Air Force Base.  The RAF had us accommodated in a motel in Omaha.  When we arrived we found that since our last visit, they had installed a swimming pool in the entrance area.  Of course we weren't expecting this so we had no trunks with us.  I said that I was wearing briefs and there was little difference to proper trunks so I was going to have a swim.  The rest of the crew agreed and we all happily dived in.  The American management were too polite to tell us to desist but next time we arrived at the motel, some months later, we noticed that they now sold swimwear.  ;D

I've been swimming naked all year when and where I can. Fortunate to be twenty miles from a quiet bit of seaside, plus a pick of three swimmable local rivers, one of which is just five minutes from where I work and ten minutes from home. I've manged four swims this week, one in the sea and three in the River Test (two twilight and one at 8am this morning in the rain )

It's a great stress reliever and still surprisingly warm for the time of year.

Swam in Norfolk yesterday for 2 hours. Next afternoon swim on the 20th Nov I think.
