My first time nude in front of strangers felt like I was going to be sick as I was so nervous about being naked.
But to be honest after the first 5 to 10 minutes I thought what was all the fuss about as it felt so relaxing and natural to be cloths free.
Everyone else was so nice,friendly and helpful I just regret not trying it sooner than I did.
As I always say, the worst part of stripping off for the first time is just before you do it! Than afterwards you realise that nobody is looking at you, because you're no longer the odd one out!

The worst part is thinking about it, but it's normal to be anxious about a new experience with strangers plus the vulnerability you might feel of being naked. It's like ripping off a plaster, it's just best to do it quickly, then you wonder why you were afraid!

Many of us feel the same way. If you are feeling apprehensive about giving it a try - go for it. There's so many posts along the lines of feeling nervous and then finding its actually rather wonderful.

I worked with a man who was nearing retirement, and he came back from a holiday in the then Yugoslavia on the island of Lopud saying he and his wife had gone to a beach and sunbathed and swam nude for the first time. He said what a shame they hadn't tried it many years previously. Others have said much the same.

I felt same way first time naked hiking - once the clothes were off, hated having to put them back on. If it wasn't raining, I would be out there now - 13 degrees 🙂
