Have you asked at any ? I think most are clubs run by the members who hire a pool, that's how our club (Watford) works at least, been running since the early 60's
The management are probably happier than running the event themselves, I guess if the club were to be really busy and obviously making money from hey may change their view.
we have a great relationship with our pool and staff- we have enough members to cover our costs but it would be nice to have a few more.

The more we ask round the more normal it all becomes if every uk naturist called their local pool and asked they would probably be more receptive if a club then made an approach.

Perhaps consider seeing if any others in your area would be interested in starting a club local to you ?

These clubs don't start themselves, the more we make approaches, talk amongst ourselves the more normal it is for those around us.

Spectrum Swim recently changed venue. We visited several premises before making our move. Without exception we were received with courtesy and without any sniggering etc. We were amused at one venue to be told cooking would not be allowed in the sauna. (Apparently some customers in the past had!!)

The show stopper was lack of available slots. We are happily set in our new venue. Pool managers won't just laugh in your face but you do need enough people to make it viable both for the members and the pool.

We are lucky to have a weekly swim session plus the use of an outdoor pool nearby. Also, we have used a local hotel pool by special arrangement.

I've been swimming naked for 20 years now but in August this year I spent some time in Greece on a textile beach and had to wear bikini bottoms.  The beach was lovely, the company was lovely and the experience of people watching was great ( I'd no idea there were so many different styles of bikini's ) but it felt so wrong going into the sea wearing something. I was so glad to go away again a month later and get onto a naturist beach to get the all over tan back  8)

Think twice before doing it in Cambodia area or south america especially Argentina or the Amazon, safe in lower reaches but 200 mile form mouth it gets a bit dodgy. School Project in the 60's still struggle to walk into a river naked or not.

As far as South America goes are you thinking of the candiru fish which allegedly swims up the urethra. Fortunatly this story seems not to be true. See here  I first heard of this horror one one of Michael Pallin's travel series. The thought of a fish swimming into and getting stuck in someones penis brought tears to the eyes.

It seems trucks aren't needed here after  all.
