Costa Natura is a totally self enclosed village somewhat similar to the village in "The Prisoner". It's very international with visitors from all over Europe but we had no difficulty in making friends with people.
The facilities are just a bit above basic - an on-site small shop, quite a good restaurant, a hot tub and swimming pool but the beach is narrow and stony. There's plenty of grass to lay on though and there's the usual games areas.
Estepona is the nearest town for shopping with several supermarkets and cafes. They have a market on Wednesdays and Fridays (if I can remember correctly).
You will need a car to get there from the airport. If you want to risk the border dispute, I can recommend Gibraltar airport as you can rent a car there and drive it easily to Costa Natura. If there is a border dispute on the way back then you are allowed to leave the car on the Spanish side of the border and just walk across. Gibraltar is a nice way to start (and end) your holiday as well.
If you don't want Gibraltar then the airport is much further north eg Marbella - a straightforward drive, but it takes longer.
You will need to leave a small deposit at reception which is repayable when you leave.
Really sunny for most days of the year.

Since they built the motorway it's a lot faster to get to CN from Malaga .... turn right out of the airport and you're hitting the Estepona roundabout in about 40 mins.  And only a few Euros toll charges.

We'll be doing a feature on Costa Natura in a week or so.

A taxi from Gibraltar is reasonable.

This was our first commercial holiday 2008.and we highly recommend it for 1st time naturist who wish to go abroad  .We booked through what was peng travel,all very good.
we where not keen on some of the places outside costa nutura but that is maybe just us as we are not into the high life Spain can offer.really relaxed place with fantastic views of the med.good pool ,sauna was ok,and the hot tub.excellent restaurant and bar and a small snackie place by the sea front was good also.a small shop sold bits and pieces nothing fancy,so you would have to go to the supermarket the other side of Estapona so you may have to hire a car which we got in the package from Peng.picked it up at Malaga airport.The beach is grey sand but great for swimming.good small stretch of beach one or two mercats  at the far end.

Has the small bar by the ramp to the beach been reinstated after the fire?

Yes, Renato now has a new kiosk and normal service was resumed almost immediately after the fire in 2012, as he erected a large tent whilst a replacement was organised.

We have been regulars at Costa Natura for quite a few years now and love the place. The gardens and general ambiance draw us back again. We find it most photogenic and have built up quite a few images to view on cold winter nights.

There is a new / improved website now which gives the viewer photographs of all the apartments available which is well worth a view and gives an indication of how Costa Natura looks.

The nearness of local restaurants, two supermarkets and all that Estepona offers also keeps us wanting to return.

Came back from their beach just over a week ago.the beach shower has gone and only a small tap is left so not much chance of rinsing off after a swim in the sea

We are going to do a six week tour circling the Portuguese and Spanish coast in our camper next Spring staying at naturist sites where possible and this place sounds interesting, especially with the Gibraltar proximity. However, looking at the website it doesn't seem to be a campsite, just apartments - am I looking at the wrong place?

Unfortunately, there is no camping at Costa Natura, accommodation is in apartments only.
