We are off to Tuscany for three weeks at the end of May with non naturist friends so wont be able to "enjoy" life at the villa unless we choose to stay back on our own.
Does anyone know of any naturist beaches in and around Tuscany so that we can benefit from experience and avoid a fruitless search.

I understand that the Italians are not so naturist friendly as to have lots of places to go but any guidance would be appreciated
😎
We are a happily married family couple with lots of things going on in our lives. We both enjoy naturism but my wife likes the temperatures to be more comfortable than me which restricts UK action
Hi im italian

Marina di bibbona (Li)its another beach
And nido dell acquila its another famous beach in touscany

There is a beach at Corniglia that is used by naturists.

We used it when we were on honeymoon in 2010.
It is an intersting route through a disued railway tunnel to get to the beach.
Would suggest going by train to Corniglia, as the road route is a bit precarious; especially when being followed by tailgaters on narrow mountain roads.

I have to try it..
Hello, we live in Tuscany and have been in most beaches.
The only official beaches are:
- Nido dell'Aquila beach at San Vincenzo (LI) GPS: Lat. 43.031943, Long. 10.525849
Acquarilli, at Lacona (Elba island) GPS: Lat. 42.763524 , Long. 10.334364
Other unofficial beaches are Marina di Bibbona, Marina di Alberese and Capalbio.
About Feniglia beach mentioned by simone190, it's no more frequented by naturists from many years.
Guvano beach at Corniglia is close to Tuscany also, even if is in another region (Liguria) actually. Last news says that the tunnel mentioned by Graeme & Heather is closed now and foothpaths are rather dangerous, so unfortunately we don't suggest it.

Thanks for the update about the tunnel to Guvano Beach. Is there a reason why the tunnel has closed? Unsafe or owners closed it?

In all tha area (including the beach) there are landslides so, as I read on Italian naturist forums, the Municipality ordered to close the gallery for safety reasons. As there is no economic interest for it, problably it will remain closed for a long time. There is a footpath but many say that it is steep and risky also.
It's a shame because it's famous as a naturist spot from a very long time.
