I love to walk in the countryside and with me not having been naked in public yet, I think as a first step I will strip down for part if not the majority of my next hike (which happens to be later today).  I rarely see people when I'm on my local walks as I usually stay of the beaten track, Do you think this will help with my nerves or will it make me worse by thinking I will bump into people whilst I'm naked

Thats a big jump, you have to decide what you are going to do if you are surprised and seen up close, have you the nerve to carry on walking give a smile and wish them a good day, OR Run? it took me all my nerve to do it, and I had been in front of others naked for 3 years before it happened. If you run you will look guilty, the other way a naturist. Go for it if you feel confident, it will be great.

Thanks Martin I'm sure I will.

Yeomanterry, I don't usually bump into people on my hikes but if I do today when I'm naked I will probably bid them a good day turn bright red and speed up my walk

I did it, probably only about 2miles or so naked but I'm happy with that,  it's quite mild up here today about 9* or so, it drizzled a bit but I found that quite relaxing, the experience made me feel more in touch with nature than I normally do whilst out and I didn't bump into anyone so that was a bonus

It's hard to explain how it made me feel, like I was at peace with my surroundings it felt natural

I really did enjoy it, weather permitting I think I might take another one tomorrow

😀 Congratulations, it does heighten the senses but also gives you a calming aura when walking naked in the countryside.

there are a few other guys who seem to do nude walks on the moors - not seen them posting anything recently though

I really should have been born on a tropical island

I'm one of them. I did five walks in the Derbyshire Peak District last year and another in North Wales. I've been out once this year, across local fields. Either the weather or other commitments have not allowed me to get up to the moorlands.

I did one other walk across the Clwydian Hills just after Christmas but I had company, there were a lot of people about and quite frankly it was too cold, even for me!

Well done on giving naked walking a go and bravery do it  in February in England!  It does feel great to walk in the countryside without clothes.

I'm just getting ready for another hike this morning, I've planned a much longer route this time and well off the beaten track so hopefully I will be able to be naked a lot longer than last time
