Yes - I get out regularly in the summer, and more locally for early morning runs when few about. In winter tends to be confined to a few walks in the woods, protected from the wind. Naked tree climbing is fun, but don't get stuck!
I have rarely encountered others close to, and still struggle to act 'casually' while covering up. For more distant encounters I do not normally see the need to cover up.

Several years ago we stopped at Harbin Hot Springs in California. (Sadly burnt down in last years fires) There was a mulberry tree with ripe fruit. Once we'd picked the lower branches a number of us climbed up to get the remaining fruit much to the amusement of the watching crowd, especially as we were in competition with a number of wasps. Fortunately no-one was stung and the fruit was delicious.
I haven't climbed a tree naked since

I went a lot longer naked today, It rained whilst I was out, only lightly and it was colder than last time, it didn't dampen my spirits though if anything it heightened my connection with nature, I did see a couple walking in the distance instead of panicking i paused a minute to see which direction they were going to take and like I thought they stuck to the path so I carried on over the hills.
MartinM I will have to try tree climbing in the future.
Very brave of you to go for a naked walk at this time of year. I have a house in France in a rural area. I love to go for a naked walk over there but must admit only in the warmer weather. Havent bumped into anyone as yet, not sure how I would react to be honest.
I was lucky with the weather to have a couple of mild days, since then it's been too cold, hopefully the weather will warm up soon and I can get back out there.
Perhaps you could attend one of the singles outdoor club walks. Always safety in numbers 🙂
We intend to do our first naked hike with them on May 9th.
I posted this in July last year on another site:
I walked with the Singles’ Outdoor Club yesterday near Petersfield.
Halfway round the 12-mile walk we were surprised by a couple walking round the end of the hedgerow only a few yards away :-[
I wondered if the front walkers would bother to cover up, being so close. They did, so we did also at the back of the line of 22 naked walkers.
The couple passed by with wide smiles, and the male of the couple said, “There was no need to bother – we’re Dutch”.
Made my day 🙂 🙂 🙂

Unfortunately the walks are too far away from me at the moment as I don't drive

You may want to check the date; the May walks are on Saturday 7th or Thursday 19th.
I intend to join the Saturday walk, so, if you do that one, come over and introduce yourselves.
Have fun,
Ian.
It's never too late to have a happy childhood.
My mistake, it is the 7th May! It's near Salisbury so unless the weather is horrible, we shall be there.
