We're meeting up with some friends from Germany in their camper in the Alsace region for about 5 days while we're touring in our van for three weeks in June. They're textiles so we'll be at a textile site for those days but we're looking to stay at naturist sites for the rest of the trip. However, looking at websites choice of naturist sites in that area seems limited - guess it is a bit cold being high up.
We're happy to travel 100 miles or so further down so wondered if anyone has an suggestions on good naturist sites and the direction we should trundle in?
Thanks

Alsace is an area of good food, great wines, wonderful hiking, stupendous sceneries, old buildings and historic castles linked with its complex and blood-soaked history - but unfortunately it does not have any commecial naturist resorts.
Nevertheless it boasts a few nice naturist clubs. I have heard of Les Naturistes d'Alsace at Geispolsheim, le Club du Soleil de Mulhouse at Ensisheim, and Centre Gymnique d'Alsace at Wasselonne.
You mention being ready to drive 100 miles to the South to find a good naturist site, but that would not help much, as Lorraine to the West and Franche-Comté to the South are not very well equipped either.
To be quite honest, when French naturists think of Alsace they are mostly attracted to the spas over the German boarder, the sort of establishment that has unfortunately never spread to this side of the Rhine.

Yes. It is in a very nice part of Luxembourg. Lots of Dutch visitors.

Thanks for the replies and that's why we didn't find many/any sites. We've got over a week in France before we meet up with our friends so will either look at the options of more central France and then trundling up to Alsace, or over the border in Germany but we don't really fancy the spas.
As you say Jacques, we are looking forward to good food, wine and scenery in Alsace.

Excellent site not far from Mulhouse, and only just over the German border:

We've been looking at Reneert and it looks good apart from the snack bar and shops being in the textile campsite, we like being able to stay naked all day and do things like grabbing a social coffee/beer without dressing. mind you the new swimming pool looks very nice!
