The Dunes just outside Corralejo in the Canary Islands are wonderful for naked sun bathing and swimming. They go on for miles so you can ramble as well.
Reading that does bring back happy memories......

just come back and it was quite windy and the sea was ruff. Told off by guards to get out of sea.but from RUI hotels walked passed quite a few café bars and some quite remote in Dunes to far end wind surfing area 🙂

I was at Corralejo in October. The weather was ideal. The wind wasn't too strong while we were there and it was safe to swim in the ocean. We stayed at one of the big Riu hotels just outside of the town, which was very close to the naturist beach. In fact it was about a couple of hundred feet along the beach from the hotel itself. I was there with my (non naturist) wife and son, so didn't have much opportunity to spend time on the naturist beach. In fact I went only once for a few hours, and this was my first ever experience (and to date only) on a naturist beach and I really enjoyed soaking up the sun and occasionally dipping into the water to cool off. I'll look forward to other opportunities in future.
you will find that all beaches out of town are considered clothes optional - so no problem you being naked & your family not [as long as they're happy with that]

I'l just reinforce Shortsboi's post with the comment that on Fuerteventura there are no naturist beaches.
All the beaches are clothes optional but the town centre beaches and those in front of hotels tend to be textile dominated.
I have never bothered to dress to walk past the two Riu hotels and never had any problems whatsoever.

Thanks. I did know that the beaches away from the town itself or in front of the hotels was clothing optional. Before we went I made sure my wife was aware how close to the front of the hotel the clothing optional beach started. So when we arrived and I tentatively suggested a walk along the beach I was surprised when she agreed. I half expected her to turn around as soon as she saw naked people, but she didn't. We walked for about 10 minutes before turning around and coming back. Later in the week I suggested we all go along to the clothing optional bit, but she was dead against going, although it was her suggestion that I take a little time to myself and go along on my own. I didn't spend long because I would much rather be with them when on holiday, but everyone needs a little alone time anyway, so it was a lovely way to spend my alone time.
We have been back and forth to the beach at the dunes down from the hotel and it's great to hire the sun beds and umbrellas for only 3 euros each for the day the people have been great with a lot of British and Europeans there all after the same thing a wee bit of peace and quiet to relax naked and no one staring , it's a great for our first ever time on a CO /naturist beach that we hope to come back to soon after this holiday

I was there early on this year and was told to get dressed when walking past the life guard hut just at the side of the Rui hotels. The life guards were getting in right old lather, no one else seemed to be bothered. I just kept walking and ignored them.
My understanding is that there are no naturists/clothes optional beaches on Fuerteventura as it is illegal to be naked in public, however the authorities turn a blind eye to it as it would seriously affect the tourist trade from Germany.

We based ourselves near the last cafe hut called sirena where there was already lots of people there naked and still plenty of sunbeds to hire for more and lots of space to do our own thing, we took our own food and drink with us with prices at the cafe high but worth it for a cold drink after a while on the beach, we find it so relaxing seeing everyone mix together and would recommend a visit or 2 to anyone
