Good information, the second place looks very rustic. I see there are a lot of the camp-sites to the West of Bordeaux.
The area is very popular indeed with campers but most sites are textile.
I notice that this year's updated map on the Euronat web site shows the ready-pitched tent area but they are difficult to find on the remainder of the site.
Click on the tent option on this page.

Yes, that was what I was looking for at Euronat. Have you been there John? My lady as a novice wondered whether the washrooms/showers were in a communal block or are they separate (male/female)?
Hope to meet couples Yorks/Lincs.

We have not camped at Euronat as we always stay in a chalet, needing toilet facilities at night at our age, unfortunately.
However I would expect that they will be communal and unisex although there will be some individual shower cubicles available. Incidentally in France it is quite common to have unisex toilet facilities in even the best hotels, the urinals being normally behind a second door.
We will be at Euronat from 11th to 24th July and I will try to remember to check up on the facilities for you.

Thank you, I am sure my partner will embrace everything. I think there will be certain concerns for most women when they have their "time of the month". The private cubicles being specifically for that purpose I would have thought?
Hope to meet couples Yorks/Lincs.
