we're that impressed with the weather this week, we booked to fly to fuerteventura tomorrow, staying in a beachfront hotel in tarajalejo, not been to that end of the island before, but i shall leave the mrs sat on the beach whist i go exploring.

flying with thomson who are only allowing 5kg carry on ,  50 quid to check in a hold bag , weve both got nearly a kilo to spare, family are amazed we havnt need to check in at least one bag

Over the past 7 years or so we have watched this hotel being built.

Most building stopped when the crash hit and the construction workers went to main land spain looking for work, we did notice last October that the hotel looked near completion if not finished.

Sounds like we will be there at about the same time as you, we are at the hotel Faro Jandia, opposite the lighthouse.

Hi Mr & Mrs KK, I can't remember how many times we've been to Fuerte, but it must be nearly the same as yourselves. We'll be in Corralejo the last week of Sept and the first week of Oct. Let's hope the weather stays nice and warm  8)

Exactly the same time as us, we normally go in May and October, but our plans had to change this year.

We will be flying out of Stansted and getting the std transfer to the hotel, so should be in the hotel by 10.00 pm, for a quick drink, bed and  the beach in the morning.

Hi both, we're actually staying at the Hotel Gran Natura in (just outside Corralejo) It's the first time we've been to a larger naturist holiday "place" and we're looking forward to it. We're flying out of Birmingham lunchtime ish from memory, we'll land, pick the hire car up, and hot foot it up the coast road to the hotel, then a bit like you, food, beer / sangria , bed and beach / pool in the morning

Wife found some more reviews now on trip adviser, all seem positive, though some warn of there being naked people about. oh shock !!!!  ;D.... and mostly Germans ..hahaha

Apparently there's a little rocky path down to the beach, I wonder if people are leaving there things poolside and walking down naked to the beach...  Would be great if that were the case, being able to leave your shorts behind somewhere safe would be an ideal way to start a long walk.    🙂

we weht to origo mare end of october last year and explored the north end , this august we stayed a week ina posh hotel in tarajalejo, spent a lot of time on the beach at tierra dorado (mal nombre). have just booked a week late octobre in monte del mar, esquinzo.

we usually do seperate self catering accom and flights etc, but last 2 have been flight and accom packages from teletext holidays.

this time were half board, an after breakfast stroll left up the beach to the beach bar at tierra dorado for lunch  looks like a plan.
