My wife and I would like to go to a Greek Island in September. I have looked at Captain Barefoot and other websites to try and identify naturist beaches within walking distance of a resort, I have used this in the past but some beaches were not naturist when we got there!
I would love to hear from anyone who has actually been to a resort and knows that there is a naturist beach nearby (on islands other than Zante, Skiathos, Kefalonia and Crete).
Please PM me if you have any suggestions.

Thanks.

There is a naturist beach at Tigaki (or Tingkai ) on Kos. The naturist section is to the left of the beach in front of the salt lake as you look at the sea.

"Try to live a good life. Don't be afraid to be what you are'. some bloke in the pub.

Try Arillas, NW Corfu. Extreme N and S ends of this small resort's beaches are naturist. The friendliest 'seaside village' you could imagine. It bears no resemblance to the brash Kavos end of this easy-to-get-to island. Walk North over the headland to San Stephanos. a slightly larger 'resort' and the North end of this beach is naturist.

Just back from Zante went to every beach and no nudies. Had a scooter for a week so give it a miss. Skiathos is great as you can get the bus up and down the island and walk to most beaches. Also been on several in Kephalonia but always hire a scooter and went on that, not sure if any were walk able from resort. If you want that go to Formentera off Ibiza its Spanish but nearly all nude and one of the most chilled out places I have been to. Crete went to Plakias and one at each end of resort but small went for 2 weeks but not much to do unless you have transport.

Good luck

We are just back from Corfu, where we enjoyed long nude walks on the vast Issos Beach, on the west coast. It is an unofficial naturist beach, but on two visits there we found total tolerance of our nudity, once we had left behind the much busier textile section. The only official naturist beach (or official naturist anything) on the island is Mirtiotissa, which is tiny by comparison, so we gave it a miss. Corfu is large enough to provide many accommodation options, including secluded villas with a pool, allowing plenty of private naturism. So Corfu is a good choice for naturists, but also for textiles, with plenty to offer beach bums but also those who like a more active/exploring holiday.

G (a ‘born naturist’) & J (who happens to be married to a naturist, but believes ‘When in Rome...’). See profile for details!

I've been to Corfu several times and will be there again in September. I stay at what Thomas Cook call St George South and Olympic Holidays call Agios Georgios. There may be other operators, but beware there is another similarly named place further north. Issos beach is just south of Lake Korission so make certain you are looking at the right place if you want to go there. Depending upon where you stay it's about 30 - 45 mins walk along the beach from the little resort, which at first glance may not look particularly attractive but after a week starts to grow on you - well at least me. I've always seen naturists walking along the beach and people sitting on the sands. They seem to be accepted but it is so far as I am aware it is only an unofficial naturist beach. You can walk the other way along the beach for about an hour and I found naturists there as well but in between these points it is textile only. There are no sunbeds to rent on these "naturist beaches". If you want all facilities and pounding music then I think maybe look at Mykonos - but I thought it was not for the faint hearted! Anti Paros was a fine naturist beach (and I think an official one, or at least it was) when I went there but is off the beaten track so needs a bit more effort. When I went arguably the easiest route was flight to Athens then flight to Paros taxi to Pounda (make sure you get the right one - ask for Anti Paros) then 10 min car ferry. There's also a ferry of course from Piraeus and I think Rafina to Paros.  I love Greece!

You must have gone to wrong places in Zante as it has a naturist friendly Hotel.

Good luck
