For those that followed my thread earlier in the year you'll know I started life modelling in April for the first time. Since then I joined the group as an artist and now do both drawing and modelling regularly.  Being an artist gives me a good insight into what others are looking for from a model so it means I can design poses that give them something interesting to work with.

I have been unofficially designed as the 'nudity director' charged with finding new models.  We have a few coming through RAM (agency) but I have also introduced people with no experience at all and in these cases I spend a while talking to them, letting them know what to expect and what's expected and helping them come up with poses.  All these new models have said they want to do it again.

Now, our sessions are bi-weekly and we aim to have a rosta of models that rotate but not too often. Artists like a bit of variety.  So I am looking for more people, experienced or otherwise, who are interested in doing life modelling. We pay agency rates for experienced models but even for new models we would pay at least £20 for the session if not more.

The meetings are in Ridgemont which is not far from junction 13 of the M1.  So if anyone is interested please let me know. Discussion here in this thread will be helpful as it may answer questions some people have about it. But feel free to send me a PM if you have any questions you don't want to ask out in public view.

I realise it seems a little sexist perhaps, but there doesn't seem to be a shortage of male models so I would like to find more women who are up for having a go.  That's not to say you lads shouldn't come forward but it might be a long time before a place comes up.

Before you get in touch, please do a bit of research so you have an idea of what's involved.  I will go over all that in any case but I don't want anyone thinking it's just a chance to strip off in front of strangers, have a bit of a laugh and get paid for it.  These are serous artists and models are expected to observe certain etiquette in order to make everyone feel comfortable.  It can be uncomfortable, even painful. But seeing the artwork you inspire can make it worthwhile.

Hi Andy, not sure if you are still looking for life models or not. I am taking early retirement in November and will be looking to take up photography full time. However, I have done some modelling too and maybe interested in doing some art modelling. I know a couple of art models who seem to enjoy it, so do let me know if you would like to talk to me.

It's a free country, live life to the full!
