Well it was a cracking few hours out. There's nowt on the telly at 6 o'clock on a Sunday morning so where else would you rather be?

I'm told there were about 440 of us but plenty of space. We all stripped off at 7 and then a mad dash down to the sea. I actually went swimming this time instead of paddling like I've done in previous years. Then a wander back up for a cuppa. Some of us were in the NESD letters, I'm near the top of the straight bit on the D.

Only gripe is that nearly everyone else got dried and dressed as soon as they got back to their clothes. I stayed starkers for a while, air dried and left a large crowd of clothed people on the beach.

It was wonderful and I'm already looking forward to next year.

Yes it was a great day. my wife and I were both there again for the third time.  I think the weather put a few people off as they got dressed pretty quick as soon as it started to rain again. I think if it had been as nice as it was last year people would have hung round a bit longer.
