In Dymock on B 4215 200 yd North of Beauchamp Arms turn left onto Kempley Road then right at T-junction.  At Kempley turn L, go through Kempley Green and park at picnic/parking site on right.  Follow main track for about 200 yd, then take path on right which leads to infrequently used paths through very attractive woodland. 

There is a nice lake in Dymock Forest where you might contemplate a skinny dip.  Take the path southwards from the car park and either follow your nose as the path descends down the valley or navigate with a map.  Enter the water on the secluded side of the lake opposite the main path.  I have walked nude all the way from the car park to the lake in the early morning.  If the car park is empty there is no-one in the forest.  Oddly enough the M50 traffic noise cannot be heard once you are in the lake!

An alternative close by is Hay Wood on the other side of the M50 (road traffic noise soon fades as you get into the wood).  Two parking places shown on map.  As ever, avoid dog-walking times.  Explorer Map OL14 is helpful.
