As first experience of naturism camping, we decided to go to Funtana FKK Istra two summers ago and this choice never guessed it could be regarded as such!
A campsite completely immersed in the green, and squirrels frolicking through the various streets and lots of trees, vegetation, which makes it look like a real garden .
Clean sea and absolute cleanliness in the various areas - 6 to be exact - with the possibility of following in those special pets (even beaches and gardens dedicated to them).
Total area of about 40 hectares and long beach pebbles mixed rock -sand forget it-.
The campground offers free outdoor parking, but still allows the rest of the machines on the inside without having to pay anything, so car next to the pitch.
There are two active restaurants, even if only 'Daniela' it's that's always full and where we always went, a small supermarket equipped with various products which is located just at the entrance of the camp and a small grocery shop seller of products local.
The restaurant ' Daniela ' offers many solutions (from omelets to pizzas, from pasta to meat) all with good quality and with attached 'after dinner' amenities (coffee, ammazzacaffè, etc.), absolutely to taste them due to the kindness with which are offered! More than good prices.
The bathrooms are more than clean, and frequently arranged along the entire area of the campsite.
There is a mini golf course, tennis courts and a playground for children in two different areas.
The staff is very helpful and we also noticed the presence of staff who controlled the respect of nudity on the beach -imperative only there, even if naturists are bare not only on the beach, but obviously along the plots, walking along the streets, doing sports, etc-.
We met friendly campers that we can define them "true naturists" and we saw seriousness , respect and authenticity in this philosophy.
The only flaw, if we want to find is the lack of entertainment after dinner, so if you want to have entertainment on the evening, seek elsewhere. To report, instead, the noise of the adjacent disco textile camping , which in certain areas of the camp (Southern area) can disrupt sleep especially on Friday and Saturday .
Quiet and relaxing after dinner, we think that FKK ISTRA camp is suitable for those who come for the first time in this world and wish to do it in absolute tranquility in a place not too 'in the spotlight' and proper for families with children and couples not too much demanding.
