Read your posts with interest, quite fancy a walk in Sherwood forest even though its a long way from home. How did the organised walk you did in 2016 go? many walkers? Do you think you might arrange something similar in 2017?

It went very well, 14 people, everyone enjoyed it, we met a few people but stayed naked and there were no problems. I checked with the police and the warden afterwards and no one had complained.
I will try to arrange more during 2017. But I go walking on my own regularly, if you are going to be in the area and want a walk let me know.

Thanks gildo, i envy you the chance to enjoy your local environment regularly. Would be great to join you one day this year, albeit I think I would feel more confident in a group. Safety in numbers I suppose. That is why I so enjoyed the WNBR in London, no way we were going to get any grief from anyone, we were the main event that day, stopping the traffic and living the dream. Ever considered it?

I have done several naked bike rides. But you then you would have expected that I guess,

I tried to do a naked bike ride in Sherwood, but just too many people even on the remote parts of the national bike trails so I gave up. Longest full nude (i.e. nothing with me to cover up) bike ride I've done is 6 miles - at night on the back roads - warm night with the moon lighting the way, it was a great feeling and so much different from nude walking.

I too have done a couple of night rides, Living in quite a remote spot I can cycle out of the village then lose the shorts. Its a wonderful experience and at night so easy to detect approaching vehicles or any sign of life. Just the moon above, air on the body and the sounds of the night, bliss.

the walk in the Forest sounds great, and so pleased it was such a success, being able to walk naked through nature and being able to connect 100% with nature without having the background thought you might meet someone and offend them must be wonderful.  Are there any organised nude cycle rides around the Midlands if not does anyone know how one could be arranged?

This sounds like a great idea Gildo. Well done to you for organising. Any idea when you will be organising another walk in 2017? I'd love to join.

I have been out today and 3 times last week but I think it is still too soon for most people. I will post something on here when it warms up a bit more.

I think i'd be alright once its about 16 Celcius, weekends are my only option really but understand this might not be possible as it's busier.

We can do a week end when it warms up a bit. I will probably tie it in with an Edwinstowe swim so we can go to it after the walk.

Sounds great! Please keep us posted. I love being nude outdoors but there are so few opportunities in this part of The Midlands.
