I will be going for a 10 mile naked walk in Sherwood Forest on Sunday morning and the weather looks warm with some sunshine. If anyone would like to join me I will be at the parking place below at 10 am. and I will set off walking 5 or 6 minutes later. You or your partner does not have to be naked unless or until you are comfortable.  I suspect we will be walking for about three and a half to four hours depending on pace. You may wish to bring food and drink and we can stop for about half an hour part way round. Bring a wrap or something else you can cover up with if necessary, a bag can also be used. Please let me know if you wish to join me, and just turn up on time.
Looking forward to it.

That's a great shame as I'm elsewhere that day, were it not for that I would definitely have joined you! It's not far from me at all.

Let us all know how it goes, and I'll see if I can get to any future ones.

Sorry not to join you - have a good walk!

I walked this route today and it can be split into a 3 mile walk for those who cant walk so far and on for a 10 mile walk if anyone is interested. While out today, I met a woman with a dog who when I asked her if she minded if I was naked, she replied that she had seen it all before, it doesn't bother me. We walked and talked for about 20 minutes, I told her I would write about her on the forum and she said great, my name is sue. About half an hour later I met a woman with a dog who I have not seen for about 6 months, she didn't recognise me at first, but when I reminded her I had walked naked with her, she remembered. Who would have thought a woman walking on her own felt meeting a naked man in the forest was so insignificant she could forget about it.

The weather was fantastic and I only saw a couple of other people in the distance.

tomorrow is going to be a lovely day, I'm quite surprised no one wants to join me.

Unfortunately Google maps tell me that it's over 4 hours each way to get there.

It would have been nice if you had been able to make it John but quite understandable that you thought better of it. We had a very enjoyable walk.1 female and 4 men walked 3 miles, 1 of the men walked barefoot. 2 of us continued for 10 miles. 2 or 3 cyclists passed us, smiled and said hello. I had a chat with an elderly gent while naked. we met a group of a dozen or so walkers, two of the young women in the group used their mobiles to video or take photos of us as we approached but they were all very friendly. The sun shone the whole time and the temperature was perfect for walking.
Hopefully some of the members of this community will be able to join me next time.

I'm about an hour away and would love to join, but my wife would not and given the option of having to walk and spend time with her (both clothed) when away from home (I garden naked), or spending most of the day away from her on a weekend (I work during the week) - well I married her for a reason. But several weekends she does go and see her mum (several hundred miles away) and I look after the animals, so if one of your walks coincides with that - count me in.

Sorry I missed this one David.

I was on my way back from France whilst you were walking, otherwise I would have certainly joined you again.

And of course I missed the Sleaford swim as well.  🙁

I'm sorry to have missed this too. I only check the forum occasionally and unfortunately missed this one.

Maybe we could have a set thread on here which those interested can set up notifications too?

Do you know when your next walk will be David?

If you're a couple in the Midlands and are under 50...say hi.

Not at the moment, until the weather improves I may continue to post a short notice for week end walks when I can see that it is going to be suitable. I will probably post a walk with more notice later in the year when it is more likely to be warm enough. If you use the notify button you are less likely to miss any that I post at short notice.

Hi

Discovered I am signed up already for new notifications to this thread:

Topic: Would you like a clothes optional walk in Sherwood Forest

Maybe we could just stick to one thread for all east mids walks? Otherwise new threads will have the same issue as before.

Thanks
