Although over the years I had gradually felt more natural being naked, mostly at home and the garden, I consider my first experience at Talybont beach in Wales last year as "my first time".
I packed up my bell tent after driving from the Midlands for a few hours, then pitched it at the section of Benar Beach camping club reserved for naturists.
Even just doing that felt quite exhilarating. But spending the next day - in sunshine (yes - in Wales! ;D ) on the beach was one of the most liberating feelings I have had.
Feeling the sun all over body, with the gentle breeze was wonderful and then running into the cold sea! Wow!
I was fortunate meet a few other naturists there so had some good company. It was a great first experience.
Glad you enjoyed Tal-y-Bont, Gerry. My first naturist experience was there, back in 1996. I had gone to the general local area not realising that was a naturist beach nearby. Had been for a swim somewhat to the south of the naturist beach and was relaxing in the sand dunes when I noticed, amongst the unexpected stream of passers by, that one or two seemed not be entirely fully clothed! Wondering what was going on, I followed the general direction of travel northwards, eventually arriving at the naturist section entirely by accident! I had always wanted to spend the day at a naturist beach so quickly shed my swimming trunks and spent the whole day there, including a wonderful swim in the somewhat cold water (mid June). Went there again in September on another fabulously warm and sunny day. Quite the best experiences of my life! Cannot get away to beaches now, worse luck but indulge in 'freelance' naturism when I can on footpaths, meadows and woodlands around Herefordshire. Hope you have had some more nude experiences since Tal-y-Bont. Should like to hear your news.

Yes Tal-y-Bont naturist beach is a great place to visit - especially in sunny weather!
My nude experiences since then have largely been restricted to at home and local meadows well off the beaten track.
There is a local naturist swimming group called Desford Swim which is near to Leicester, so not too far from me. But, there is a no singles policy like most facilities it seems.
