Can anyone recommend a holiday town in Europe with easy walking access to a quiet (or big) naturist beach? Not too far from an airport and we wouldn't want to hire a car. The Canary Islands are too far for a long weekend. Any suggestions really appreciated.
I've not stayed there or used the beach but there is a naturist beach about 3 miles west of Saint Palais sur Mer in France which is itself about 7 miles from Royan Airport.
The nearest hotel I could find in Saint Palais sur Mer is Hotel des Falsise which is about 2 miles from the beach which, as I remember it, will be a reasonably pleasant walk along the coast.
That's the best I can think of.

Have holidayed in La Palmeyre on the coast further out. Except for the "Town beaches" any beach in this area is clothing optional. The beach from Palais_sur_mere to La Palmeyre is all Clothing Optional, Many people in this area hire bikes and cycle along the cycle tracks between fir trees to the beaches and chain there bikes to a tree.
Ironically went on the town beaches that were choc-a-block with English people so went further out and ended up on the naturist beaches, and this was a long time before i became a naturist....... opportunity missed.
