Can anybody share information on La Palma (Canaries)?
Tazacorte is a listed nude beach as far as we know but are there many other unofficial beaches where naturism is the norm on La Palma?
We would welcome travel information also.
We were also looking for any information that anybody has on La Palma sun Nudist accommodation http://www.lapalmasunnudist.com/
January 2018 is the anticipated travel date. 8)

We both love the heat on our bones!:)

Note that nudity is not illegal in the whole of Spain, even in the middle of a town. In practice, this is not encouraged, but most quiet beaches are nude-friendly all over the country.

In every region there are some official or semi-official beaches where you would feel very comfortable nude. For La Palma see this blog: https://nudistaslapalma.wordpress.com/

La Palma is a stunning place to visit and I fell in love with it (and must go back).. apparently it was the basis of Madonna's 'La Isla Bonita' song.  It was 2003 when I was there so I will try to help from memory...

The east side of the Island tends to get greater precipitation, whereas the clouds find it difficult to rise above the backbone of the Island to reach the west... so the west is usually the dryer / sunnier side.  The clouds coming over the backbone is something that must be seen to be believed.. a beautiful waterfall of clouds is an incredible sight and shouldn't be missed.

The north of the Island is amazing... driving above the clouds stopping off at the observatories and some stunning views at Roque de los Muchachos. On a clear day you can see other Canary Islands.  Make sure your hire car has good brakes... and take it easy as our brakes were overheating coming back down on the west to east route around the top of the Island (LP-4 I think... it was a long while ago).  There are some great views all over the Island.. I enjoyed going up the steep LP-1 north of Los Llanos.

There was a live volcano in the far south which was an interesting place to visit.

We stayed in the "Sol La Palma" hotel in Puerto de Naos which was mostly inhabited by very pleasant Germans.  The British had yet to discover La Palma back in 2003 but I've no idea what it will be like now.

In terms of naturism... I recall spending a number of afternoons on a beach south of Puerto de Naos, although I use the word 'beach' loosely.. it's more rocks with some sandy parts when the tide is in, though it was rather cosy.  I'm not sure if it was officially a naturist beach, but pretty much everyone there when I went was unclad.

HTH 🙂
