Another fab day at Kenfig today. Exceptionally quiet for a Saturday in July. Real shame so few people frequent this beautiful location. I guess the walk puts some off, but the rewards are worth it.

I think most people prefer the beaches of Gower, easy access and facilities.

Forecast looks good - hopeful of a great day on the Costa del Kenfig today!

I went down yesterday for the day, was absolutely delightful. Didn't get too far down the beach. One couple saved my critical element when the sunshine got a bit hot but they were the only other naturists I saw and they were lovely people. I almost thought I went to the wrong place it was so quiet!

"critical element" - dare I ask? No, I won't
I must try this place sometime though - been meaning to for years - was hoping I'd have a reason to visit nearby for work but it never came off

I really should have been born on a tropical island

Rookie error! When it comes to sunscreen, you can't go half cocked...

Indeed, in every sense. I've never been out in the sun for long enough naked to need sunscreen before . . . The rest of my skin doesn't need it, that bit definitely does. Being minus foreskin is a bit of a game changer on that front too I guess.

Either way critical point wasn't reached and I'm very thankful to the couple for extending my stay by a couple of hours!

September 6th - and one of the best days down at Kenfig this year - and one of the busiest - great to see so many couples, as well as the usual single guys. Unfortunately, the sea has not warmed up as in previous years, Hoping for a few more decent days before the season closes.

Managed a 2hr naked walk along the (very quiet) beach this afternoon, a real bonus at this time of year.

I'd been working in Cardiff & was finished at lunch time, so not far that day.

My wife and I have to take one of children to Pembrokeshire in August for his holiday with friends. We're going to have a layover given the distance. Anyone ever tried Kenfig Burrows? Is it worth going there?

Glenn, it might pay you to put "Kenfig Burrows" in the Search facility above.

Hi Glen,
yes went to kenfig Burrows last week when we had the good weather.
Unfortunately I ended up at the seedy end of Beach which is near the river as I ride along Beach near Steelworks to get to beach.
But taking to other recently.
They park at main carpark and walk through dunes to beach and just find a quiet spot.
The beach is quite long.
but if your going to Pembrokeshire, there's Marros beach or why not call into tything Barn?

Keep On Smiling:)
