I needed to go into the town centre this morning which is about 3.5 miles from my house.. It was really hot so I decided to take very little with me and go with just shorts and T-shirt.. I am lucky that I can walk from my house the first 3 miles via public footpaths along an old quarry which goes past a couple of lakes and through wooded areas.. I then have to take to paths on the edges of fields.. Unfortunately the first mile I have to wear clothes due to the amount of people walking there dogs in the woods and around the two lakes but once past the last lake I can slip my shorts and T-Shirt off and go natural for the next two miles.. Once I reach the last field I put my shorts back on walked to the kissing gate through and onto the road and walked the last half mile into the town centre.. Unfortunately on the return journey the sun had gone in but it was still hot so I enjoyed a lovely slow relaxing walk back home... well until I got to the lake..
Those textile people (or our impression of their reaction) can always spoil a nice walk. But you have to enjoy what you can do and respect other people, its possible they may be shocked and you spoil their walk.
If only there was some compromise! Official nudist walks? (I have suggested this before and many people always shout me down - I still think it would be a good thing if there was many of them - if not why do we have official nudist beaches and fight to keep them?
