I reading some worrying news about Little banana beach Skiathos postings on trip advisers are stating the beach is inaccessible due to a new holiday home development
As I’m holidaying in Koukounaries this June and looking forward to spending some naked days on little banana I really hope this isn't the case
Has anyone else heard anything about this? 🙁
Not heard anything about it but if it's true it is a real shame. Little banana is where I first tried naturism many years ago. However there are supposedly over 300 beaches in skiathos so I am sure there are plenty of hidden jams to discover.
That's put paid to next year's holiday plans.
There's this on TripAdvisor - apparently there are alternative access points.
You can get to little Banana by foot,you used to be able to drive down and park at the bottom by bug banana.but they are going to start locking the gate at the top..but both beaches can be got to by foot..have you tried xenimos beach by the airport or aghia eleni or my fave is the second beach on Tsougria island..banana is great but gets very crowded..have a great time

Not long now and we will be in Koukounaries I've heard Little Banana beach is back open which is great news as I’m really looking forward to some naked days on that lovely beach
I preferred Elais beach, Little Banana was too crowded for me. Its a lot easier to get to as well, no hills to climb up
We go to Little Banana as we are stopping in Koukounaries and can walk to the beach is it possible to walk to Elais from there?
You cab, but its a long walk around the island. The quickest way is to walk past the Golden Beach Hotel and follow the small path, which then goes through the woods. Its about a mile, but is quite a pleasant walk. When you get to the beach, the naturist section is on the right of the cafe. Its been a few years, but I think that was the way
Just back from a fantastic 2 weeks in Skiathos all but 1 day was spent on little banana beach
There’s lots of rumors that the beach will no longer be nudist due to the new complex being built behind it nobody really knows so time will tell
It will be a great shame as it's a lovely beach
Little Banana is quite well hidden. I think there'd be more concern over the pumping disco music from Big Banana all day
