Photography. What you have to remember is in England you can take photographs of nearly anything outside, but it is what you do with the photographs that can get you into trouble. If you photograph someone and then claim they are "doing something" you have to be able to back it up legally. This is why you do not get many of the sites you mention Glenn-Coe, it is a very dodgy area. usually i just point the camera and don't even press the shutter. crumbs i have found they can really run fast carrying loads of long lens cameras and kit....... ;D
Thank you for that advice. So if one just says folks photographed on a nudist beach then I'm stating the truth and can't get into trouble.
A follow up which has honestly left me a little sad. We opted to avoid roasting this Sunday as the sun was too strong and went after the mid-day downpour on the Monday.
As expected lots of single guys standing up and looking around, but one in particular really got to me as he would stand on the ridge and play with himself. Fortunately my wife did not see him and I expect if she did she would have wanted to leave. I didn't want to go up to him and make a scene as then my wife would definitely want to go which would have been such a shame as we were truly enjoying sunbathing and swimming now the afternoon sun had arrived.
So my question is without drawing too much attention is there some common signal, without resorting to two fingers, that these guy understand mean sod off?
I don,t know of any common signal for sod off other than two fingers. You could always shout F*** O** to discourage these idiots i suppose.Whatever don,t let these people put you off visiting the beach or they win!. 🙂
