John, what a brilliant first experience hopefully more will follow now that you have 'broken through the ice' and wondered what all the fuss is about!

I can remember my first time back in the very early 70s. A friend of mine was the official photographer at Tara in South Gloucestershire. He was moving north and asked me if I would like to take over. If I did I was told I would have to have an interview, just like a real job. When I got there I waited at the big Gates wondering what on earth I was letting myself in for. I was greeted by the owner and was lead down a long wooded path which opened out into the main area with the club house and swimming pool. I have never been so embarrassed in all my life, there I was the only person clothed!! I had to strip off asap. I was shown to the changing rooms and the rest of the "interview" was left in the changing room, along with my clothes. I spent several years at Tara as their photographer. happy days.
