Does anybody know any naturist beaches in South Goa India.
Ive been visiting Goa for 12 years its well worth a trip lovely people, great food and fantastic beaches.
We stayed in Vagator next to Anjuna last November and can confirm the beaches were textile, to the point where the locals even swam fully clothed. Tourists could 'show' a bit of flesh but saw only one topless female. She did get lots of attention from the Indian men!
One day, we did walk along the beach from Morjim to Arambol and came across one couple naked on a very quiet section, around about Mandrem but this was unusual. The old naked hippy days seem long gone.
I’ve also been going to Goa for many years and agree about lovely people, great food and fantastic beaches. Public nudity is strictly against the Hindu culture though so you won’t find any official naturist beaches. However I’ve found a mile long stretch of deserted beach near Cavelossim in South Goa where I like to sunbathe naked and skinny dip. There are no facilities of course so you need to take a bottle of water and I hide a sun umbrella in the undergrowth at the back of the beach to save carrying it. I’ve walked almost the whole length of the beach naked several times, staying naked if I pass people in the sea and going into the sea naked if anyone passes by. Reluctant to pull shorts back on but, with a big smile on my face, a cold beer in a shack makes up for it !
