I had a magnificent walk from Sissinghurst earlier this year. It was one of the very few beautiful warm, sunny, weekend days of the summer. It was an hour or so of walking before it got remote enough to strip off - what a wonderful feeling that is especially on a gorgeous summer's day. I stayed naked for at least a couple of hours encountering nobody. There was one point where it was very difficult to find the way and I was going up a hill and saw a young woman coming the other other way. I stopped straightaway and hurriedly put my shorts on and she didn't seem upset in any way. Further on though I was walking up another hill and spotted two people coming my way - again I put my shorts on and had a brief chat. She looked a bit unhappy about it but stayed silent. After chatting with the chap about the route they carried on walking while I stayed looking at the map - a few seconds later I looked behind me (still with shorts on) and there he was taking a photo of me from behind a hedge!This didn't spoil my day though - one of the days of the summer.
