This is one of the best holidays I have had. Sun, sea and skinny dipping.

Ringstead bay has got to be my favourite, easy to access and relatively textile free on the eastern side of the beach.

We have also visited Hive beach which aging is fairly quiet once you get of the main strip.

Can anyone recommend any other beaches in this area?

West of Durdle Door has been reported as used by naturists in the past but I have no reliable up to date information about it.

Looking on Google maps/satellite it does look ideal, perhaps past Bat's Head ? Hope so.  Either way could be a nice coastal walk.

Any more info about finding the naturist area on Hice beach, presumably the eastern end?

Am staying near Burton Bradstock next week and want to find the nearest skinny dipping and sun bathing spot.

Wondered if the area near Burton Mere might be good?

How to access the naturist beach from the Coastal path?

I walked from Hive beach to the Burton Mere area, took me about 30 minutes on the pebbles. The area of beach near the path from Cogden beach car park had a large group of fishermen along it, once I was past this point the beach was deserted. I walked for a good 20 minutes more totally naked and had a nice swim, only seeing one other person using the costal path. Although given the steepness of the beach, if you stay at the shoreline I don't think you can be seen from the path.

Have a nice time.

We used to take the kids to Burton Bradstock regularly in the summer as the in-laws had a house near Bridport. As with most beaches people are generally lazy and congregate near the entrance. I

f you turn right onto the beach and walk along below the cliffs after a couple of hundred yards we found there were often naked people there sunbathing.

There was a mix of naked and textiles and nobody seemed to be bothered at all.

The last time we were there two years ago we also walked to the left and found a few people naked. There are more access points to the beach that way therefore probably less people naked.

Hope this helps.

The strip of sand bank along West and East Fleet to Isle Portland looks inviting and near  empty on google maps.

Had a skinny dip and short sun bathe afterwards, but too many folks around this afternoon to relax for long.

In the end we ran out of time, as we drove back to the Midlands this morning. Staying in Lulworth Cove was lovely, great part of the country and did quite bit  of touring and sight seeing.  Being the last week of the school holidays there were still quite a few people around so no skinning dipping this time. Got a good idea of places to visit though.
Didn't make it to Studland sadly.... all for next time.
