car hire is very cheep in 2015 hired a small chinise/korian 800cc tin can for 80€ for 4 days went up and down some steepeeeeee slopes having gone down wonderd it it would get back up. but found some great beaches on the sothern end and worth just exploring all parts of kefilonia. if your free of off spring then go before the schools out and find a diffrent picture and warm welcome in the taverners 

My wife and I went to Scala in September 2015. The main town beach is not naturist but as you get to the end of the beach (right when facing the sea) there is a rock headland that ou can wade round (knee deep) there are several  coves where we spent the day naked, and if you keep wading round you come to the naturist beach.

Southern Kefalonia has some great nude beaches. The blog is spot on, we visited all those listed in June 2017. Also to add to this list is Sission near the Monastery. It's a bit of a trek down a very rough track but the beach is really nice. Isolated but still with few nude sunbathers.

We visited Kefalonia last summer in August and had a great time. There were a bunch of nice beaches in the South as mentioned by others.

The one we liked most by far was Kanali beach - it's a beautiful sandy beach, great water and the best part was that there like 4 couple only on the entire beach on each of the 3 days we went there.

Getting there is not too hard either - there's a trail from a small alley where you can park your car that hikes down the mountain (you even get some stairs at one point), and the hike goes through some very nice garden with exotic flora (cacti, banana trees, etc).

Definitely worth exploring if in the area !
