pot luck - mostly pretty good but the winds tend to be strong
however one year we had heavy rain for most of the week

I really should have been born on a tropical island

Looking forward to our first visit there in November having enjoyed naturist beaches of Tenerife and Gran Canaria. Looking at guidebooks and reviews it suggests that textile beaches are the exception rather than the rule, some even imply that some beaches give you the freedom to walk for miles clothes free....amazing! I’ll report back on our return.

We are there 15th to 22nd of November, where are you staying?

We have 'wintered' in Corralejo for the last few years, usually New Year to Easter and love the place. Yes it can rain, yes it can be cloudy, perhaps only 2 days a month but it's better than here in the north of England! We love the beach, ok, it can be windy but quiet and peaceful.

Some Fuertaventura advice please.
We have stayed in the north and visited the dunes and around the lighthouse area. In fact first experienced naturism there.
So many naturist places around (but less so in November and February with reasonable temperatures and prices) that we like to try new places.

Was thinking of the South of Fuertaventura as we have not been there and the beaches look good. We like to be able to be naturist maximum time and not to have to keep watching to cover up. That is why we loved Charco (cliff walks are great) and Vera.

So as I asked please any advice.

To the best of my knowledge there are no naturist hotels in the South near the long open sandy beaches. One or two of the hotels have a naturist sunbathing or swimming facilities but in at least one case that has been recently refurbished to textile.
We don't stay in the South as we are not beach people and I don't like having to dress and then dump a pile of clothes on the beach whenever I want a swim. I prefer to walk naked from the breakfast table to the sea.
For the best informaton see the "Naturism" section of http://www.fuerteventura-forum.com

Thank you John Gw
Yes exactly from the breakfast table to the sea puts it perfectly and I would add to lunch and dinner!
So where do we go?

I rent a studio apartment in the Maravilla complex at El Cotillo. The apartments are not the most luxurious in the area and are overpriced for the quality but, while not specifically naturist, they are totally nudity friendly.
I have a short video of the interior of the usual studio we rent here and other videos from our holidays there here, here and here.

We stay at Club Jandia Princess. It has its own naturist pool with a naturist cliff top garden. It also has an organised sauna each evening at 6:00pm which is 95% naturist and is located on Butihondo beach (to the left 95% naturist). There is also the Monte Marina hotel that is a naturist hotel located on the same beach.
Hope you find somewhere as we love the south of the island.

we will be in esquinzo in mid november... 5 min walk to the beach , once on the beach you can strip off, sit down or walk a couple of hours either way, youll meet people in clothes but theres so many nakid bodies about that nobody cares.
you get clusters of bodies in swimwear arround the hotels and beachbars, but the nomadic naturists just carry on through them.

i read somewhere that its possible to walk along the beach from morro jablo to costa calma, about 16 km in all
