Hi Guys and Girls,
We visited Montalivet (socnat) in 2016 and thought it was perfect for us. However for 2018 we are looking for something equally good camping wise, but with calmer sea down south rather than the atlantic. I have looked on some sites but there are either no reviews or they're from people who seem to have experienced one off problems.
If anyone can recommend a young family friendly campsite with chalets too would be great. We aee primarily looking in france but would certainly not dismiss spanish resorts
Thanks in advance
If seaside is not compulsory then any of the "Naturisme et Terroirs" sites would be OK provided you are not looking for a big site with laid on childrens'activities.

Thanks John,
Little one is not big enough for play stuff yet. I will certainly check some inland options out. I think Carmen was hoping for calmer seaside.
Serignan Nature would be well worth investigating, located on a smashing Mediterranean beach, which should be much calmer than at Montalivet.

Or, Oasis Village and Aphrodite at Leucate Plage - again, nice beach - ideal for children.

Quite. But do bear in mind that Leucate Plage prides itself on being a windsurfers paradise... In other words, there is no lack of wind there 😉

A good point Jacques! 🙂
It was windy when we last stayed at Oasis a few years ago.
I think much of that coast can be subject to breezy conditions at certain times of the year, but generally the sea is not as rough as on the Atlantic coast.
