Wife's birthday this Sunday so we won't get down either. Start new job on 4th Dec so not likely to make it down on the  3rd either. Life doesn't half get in the way sometimes.

I’m attending Arlington for the first time this weekend, from everything I’ve heard about it I’m really looking forward to it

Have a great time DnD.

Robt51 life does get in the way, doesn’t it? I won’t make it back now until January, when hopefully I’ll be able to drive myself, which will make life so much easier!

Sorry you’ve not been well Naked_Archer. That sounds horrible!

Thanks Jane,
If you ever need a lift it's not much difference for me to head past Dunfermline then along the M8 rather than down the A9/M80.

Likewise if there is anyone from Dundee attending I'd happily offer a lift.

All the best
Dave

I couldn't believe it. Woke up Saturday with red, swollen and itchy arms. Seems I've been bitten by some unknown insect. I've been given antibiotics and told to stay in bed with arms raised. So I'll have to postpone my swim for another day.

Thanks Dave, I’ll keep that in mind 😊

I’m so sorry to hear that Olderman76! That sounds nasty. I really hope the treatment works and you get better quickly.

Jane you weren't wrong with your description of Arlington, what a fantastic venue and all the folk there were really friendly. The pool was a bit cold but a few lengths later to get the blood pumping and it was fine. The sauna, steam room and the Turkish suite are all fantastic and I had some great chats with loads of folk.
If you haven't been to this venue, I can highly recommend it

So glad you had a good time! People thought the pool was a bit cool last week, but as I enjoy swimming in cold water, I found it quite warm! Nice to pop into the sauna afterwards 😊

I've realised between work, stuff I need to do around the house before visitors for Christmas and taking kids to events, I'm unlikely to make it to Arlington before they finish for the year. When does it start up again in the New Year?

Jamie,

I believe the first swim of 2018 will be on the 7th January.
But contact SOC (visit@scotnaturist.freeservers.com or swimto@scotnaturist.freeservers.com) to check that I'm correct.

All the best

Dave

Thank you for the quick reply Dave. I'll try them. Weekends are usually busy for me with transporting kids between activities, but the last few have been ridiculous. I'll be ready for that sauna when I get there!

If only every weekend had two Sundays! Then I could spend one Sunday doing everything else I ought to be doing on my only day off at weekends, then the other Sunday evening attending the swim!  Sadly I think I may need to curtail my visits to the swim next year. I've been attending almost weekly for the yoga sessions, but I'm finding the cost & time of this a bit excessive now. If only I lived closer....

I look forward to it Dave. When there used to be a swim in Forfar a few years ago, there was a couple of naturists from Dundee used to go there but we've all lost touch now. It'll be good to know someone local again.
