If they refuse you have a word with BN as that is against their guidelines.

I find that hard to believe as they accepted single men when I was a member there, but that was a long time ago and committee thinking can change.

I think its a no go for invicta sun club i have sent a few emails and this is the last one i got
Hi Martin j
Thank you for your email. I put the content of your email to our Committee and I don’t doubt your bone fides. However, the bottom line is that you do not fulfil the criteria as a visitor. It is not at the behest of the Committee to change the rules. We are essentially a members’ club.
However, one of our officers came up with a suggestion that you might consider membership. This would entail application for membership and being accepted as a probationary member. Unusually we have a single vacancy and we have a number of members, who do not live locally. Our subscription for a single member is £65 and camping fees are less for a member than the visitors’ fees.
You might like to consider this suggestion and let me know. I attach an information sheet for potential members.
Regards

So i think i might try The naturist foundation its a bit father than i wanted to be but if that's all i can get so be it

A typical reply from somebody who would like to be more helpful than some bigoted members of the club will allow.
I have been in a similar position and I know how uncomfortable it left me feeling.

I am sorry to hear of their change of rules Martin, such a pity that they feel like this now.

We have visited Silverleigh only this week for the first time.  All we can say is....don't do it!!  It is tatty, tacky, dirty and did have a predominance of men, on their own, around the 'wet area'.  We would not return.

I think that is a little harsh but I can see where you are coming from. First thing is that it is only £15 for a day visit (perhaps you do get what you pay for). The facilities there are quite good but it does look like a few quid needs to spent here and there.
The pool is excellent for an indoor one and nice sauna, steam and Jacuzzi. The proprietors perhaps cannot be to blame for the customers? As with every place like this the m/f ratio is very heavily weighted to males but that is par for the course!

I thought it was fine. Nothing to rave about, nothing to rant about. AND only £15, not to be sniffed at!
