Meon beach near Titchfield on the south coast has an unofficial nudists area.
After parking the car I believe you have to walk past the beach huts and somewhere ahead is the nudists area. As its unofficial, I guess there will not be any signage.

If anyone is familiar with this area, could you tell me at what part past the beach huts does the nudists area start, and how far does it extend.
Also, is it a fairly relaxed area, or does one have to keep looking over their shoulder. Not wishing to offend anyone.
Any info would be gratefully received.
Thanks  Codge.

HI Codge,

I've been there a few times and like it.  In theory once you've passed the end of the houses up on the cliff you're OK to strip but most people go a few hundred yards further on.

Parts of the beach are overlooked from the cliff path, many dog-walkers and general beach walkers will pass you by and, as the beach is very narrow at high tide, may be pass quite close but they do just that - pass by.

To date I've not seen or had any adverse reactions or comments so it's a pretty relaxed place to be.

So I would recommend it to anyone.

Downsides:
Stones, stones and more stones so get some waterproof shoes to swim in.

If you're shy (I'm not) the water is quite shallow as you go in so you will be seen from some way up the beach and from the cliff path, particularly at low tide. It certainly doesn't stop people swimming naked.

Boundaries are there to be stretched!

Hi BareLee
I see what you mean about the stones, a few towels or something soft to sit on would help.
I may take a look at some time, just to see where to go.
Thanks for the pics.
Kind regards
Codge

I have only had one occasion with a male voyeur he was looking from the cliff top using binoculars as I take mine I stared back he soon got the message.
I go there quite a lot as it is not too far away from home and during the week is is quiet with easy parking.

I have walked naked from just past the beach huts all the way to the mouth of the river just covering up at the holiday park.  We did need to go on the cliffs on the way back as the sea had come in and some of the beach was under water near the holiday park end.

Did you pass any textiles on your way to the mouth of the river whilst you were naked, and did they say anything to you about you being nude.
Codge.
